People who've tried to PM me claim my settings won't allow people off the friends list to do so.

Hi Morgaine and welcome.
 This had happened because you had your PM settings not set to "everybody" when your profile was converted. Unfortunately, nobody has thought to include access to these settings from the "new" profile. So, that means that anyone in your situation has to submit a ticket and request that the PM delivery settings be changed for whatever profile/s you need to be changed. |
